We are excited to welcome Tyrone “Muggsy” Bogues to Winnipeg this summer for the 2023 VSC. Muggsy will be joined by a supporting cast of guests at this year’s event that is sure to include a handful of familiar faces. Tyrone “Muggsy” Bogues
Many of us know Muggsy as the Godfather of Small Ball. As the shortest player ever to play in the National Basketball Association at 5 ft 3 in. his stature, speed, and vision, quickly made him a fan favourite in every city he played in over his 14 year career. Rumours on the links is he is also a very talented golfer.
Alongside his daughter Brittney the duo launched the Muggsy Bogues Family Foundation with a mission to empower underserved youth and families to improve their quality of life through food security, access to education, and workforce development.
Muggsy will be playing in support of the Muggsy Bogues Family Foundation as well as the Toba Centre here in Winnipeg
