The Voak Sportswear Classic Charity Golf Tournament began as a way to re-estabilish community coming out of the pandemic. The event started with a text to good freind of the brand, Blake Wheeler, and the rest is history. The event was created to unite golf lovers, customs, and some of our favourite local businesses, entrepeneurs, and athletes with a common goal of rolling out some “Friendly Manitoba” raising funds for an array of charitable causes.

From its first tee-off, the Classic distinguished itself by blending competitive spirit with heartfelt philanthropy. What started as a modest gathering quickly grew into a celebrated annual tradition—welcoming amateur and seasoned golfers alike, fostering camaraderie, and celebrating the positive impact sport can have off the course.

Past special guests have included the likes of Seth Jarvis, Aaron Jones, Muggsy Bogues, Travis Sanheim, Mark Scheifele, Keegan Kolesar, Cody Glass, Kati Tabin, Adam Bighill, Blake Wheeler, Carson Lambos, Nick Cicek, Madison Bowey, Erik Fehr, the list goes on.

Each year, the tournament directs its proceeds to carefully selected charities. With your support the event has raised close to $200,000.

Today, the Voak Sportswear Classic is not just a golf event—it’s a proven force for good, swinging for stronger communities one round at a time.

Registration for this year’s August 10th event at Bridges Golf Course opens June 15, 2026.
